CieMed
presents an interactive labeled version of the Visible HumanTM male
and female dataset. The Visible HumanTM data is made available courtesy
of the National
Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health.
Anatomical regions in each RGB section of the data were outlined manually
by students from the Anatomy, Medicine, and other science departments
at the National University of Singapore,
under the supervision of CIeMed staff. Each structure is defined by
a set of Bezier Curves giving complete scalability of the segmented
data. In this demo, we present a low-res version of the developed
Human Anatomy Atlas in a Java application. The user can scroll through
the cross-sectional imagery and point at any pixel on the image to
determimine its label.
